Sepi S. Asefnia is Founder and President of SEPI Engineering Group, which provides transportation engineering and planning services to private and public sector clients across the southeast. Asefnia is a member of several local groups such as the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Cary Chamber of Commerce, the Cardinal Club, and the Regional Transportation Alliance. Asefnia is also a member of national organizations such as the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO). Asefnia has been featured in national publications such as Entrepreneur Magazine, and received several awards such as the North Carolina WTS Chapter “Employer of the Year” award, the YWCA 2004 Academy of Women Awards – Science & Technology, and the 2004 Triangle Business Journal - “Top 25 Women Business Owners in the Triangle.”
