Government and Legislation
The paint's not yet dry on the new name, and already there's been a tweaking. Legislation has been renamed Government & Legislation, to encompass all government actions that are not necessarily legislation, such as Presidental proclamations and the weekly Presidential radio addresses.
Since the change to the Library about a week ago, I have added 4 Executive Orders, 6 proclamations, and 2 weekly radio addresses to the new section. Since creations of the United States government are not eligible for copyright, this is an easy source of new information.
Photos
Another major development in the Library is the addition of information licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License (FDL). You may notice GNU FDL licensed material by the disclaimer that accompanies each file.
Because of the disclaimer, I've had to change the way photos are viewed in the Library. Previews are now a maximum 300 pixels wide or tall, and are one per line, with text to the right of each photo. You can see an example on the Corvette page.
