ISCARS DASH Touring Acquires New Series Director

DAYTONA BEACH, FL - International Sport Compact Auto Racing Series (ISCARS) DASH Touring announces today that Robert Black of Hickory, NC has accepted the position of Vice President of Competition and Series Director.

Robert Black, who served as the NASCAR Busch Series Director for several years, brings solid leadership and a wealth of technical knowledge to ISCARS. Black’s years of experience, in directing a top level racing series, is expected to have an enormous impact on the continuing rebirth of an exciting touring series.

“Our series continues to grow as we head into the third season under the sanction and ownership of ISCARS,” states Randy Claypoole, President and CEO of ISCARS. “We continue to increase our level of professionalism in maintaining a high level of competition for our teams which provides exciting racing entertainment for our fans. Robert Black will provide the strong leadership necessary to meet our expectations”

ISCARS DASH Touring utilizes “Sport Compacts” and is the only sport compact stock car touring series in America. Fans can follow the series by tuning into ISCARS own television show, ISCARS WIDE OPEN, which airs throughout the country each weekend from May until November. WIDE OPEN is hosted by MRN Radio’s Joe Moore and Tiffany Ricardo. Check local listings.

The 2007 season kicks off at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, NC on Saturday, April 21st.
