MUSKOGEE, Okla., Dec. 29.—Ralph Pontieus, former umpire of the Western Baseball Association and Southwestern League, has agreed to enter a plea of guilty in United States District Court here next week, the district attorney's office stated today, to a charge of stealing automobiles and disposing of them in other States.  He compromised on a sentence of two and one-half years in the penitentiary, it was said.

The former umpire is to be tried on a similar charge in the Tulsa County State Court.  He is now at liberty on bond.
