High Officials Attend Funeral of Michigan Football Star.

YPSILANTI, Mich., Dec. 26.—High officials of the State and the educational world, as well as gridiron stars of this and other years, gathered here today to pay the last honors to Bernard Kirk, star football player of the University of Michigan, whose death resulted Saturday from an automobile accident.

The funeral was held this morning at the home of Kirk's parents.  Acting as honorary pallbearers were Dr. Marion Leroy Burton, President of the University of Michigan; Governor Alex J. Groesbeck, , James O. Murfin, Regent of the university; Coach Fielding H. Yost, Congressman George P. Codd of Detroit and Congressman Earl C. Michener of Adrian.
