The Gulf Refining Company announced yesterday from its offices in this city a reduction of 2 cents in the price of gasoline. The new price makes the wholesale rate 22 cents a gallon and the retail 25 cents. The new price goes into effect at once. The general retail price of gasoline has been 27 cents throughout the New York Territory.
