MEDIA ADVISORY: NHTSA RELEASES SECOND GROUP OF 1997 FRONTAL CRASH TEST RESULTS

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) today released the second group of 1997 frontal crash tests.

The release, NHTSA 11-97, shows results for the Honda Accord two-door, Volvo 960 four-door, Pontiac Grand Am four-door, Ford Expedition 4x4 four-door, Chevrolet Blazer 4x4 four-door, Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 four-door and Ford Club Wagon. . These new test results, along with results for vehicles tested previously that remain valid because the same or essentially the same vehicles are being sold in model year 1997, provide safety information on a total of 119 vehicles.
