News and Events: Mid-Hudson Region 3rd Annual Meet Scheduled for June 4, 1972

The beautiful Vanderbilt Mansion overlooking the Hudson River at Hyde Park, N.Y. has been selected as the site for the Mid-Hudson Region's 3rd Annual Meet on June 4, 1972. (Rain date, June 11). Last year's meet was also held at this National Historic Landmark. The 1971 meet drew more than 70 cars, including Peter Helck's immortal 1906 Locomobile, "Old 16", which was awarded the Founders Bowl. James Van Allen received the Best of Show award for his 1917 Studebaker.
