Traveling to Las Vegas on vacation usually consists of taking in the Strip and all its gaming glories with its abundance of world-renowned casinos and hotels. Millions flock to the city ever year to take in the wonderful nightlife of one of the United States’ most visited cities and revel in all it has to offer.

There is however many alternatives than just the many casinos on offer for people who don’t necessarily get excited by the appeal of roulette tables or the clinking and chiming of slot machines. For the automotive enthusiasts out there, the Quad Resort and Casino has been garnering column inches of late due to its Auto Collections show. The casino’s in-house museum showcases many “exotic” and unique cars – some of which are even for sale.

This visual history lesson in automobiles boasts over 250 different cars varying from muscle, special interest and historically significant automobiles. The cars currently being housed in the showroom are said to be worth over $100 million. Visitors to the showroom will be accompanied by a tour guide and will be able to learn about the backstories of all the cars as well having the option to seek extra assistance from an audio guide for added enjoyment.

It’s not the first unique show that the Quad Casino and Resort, like many of the surrounding casinos in the area. Since the uprising of online gaming many establishments have looked to broaden their live entertainment portfolios due to their spiraling debts or loss of earnings. The online industry commands a huge user base ever since its inception back in 1996 when InterCasino was unveiled at the first wagering portal to appear online. However, this hasn’t been such a bad thing for the consumer as we now get to enjoy automotive shows like this, and many other unique showcases due to casino’s having to deviate from their original business models.

With the Auto Collections being such a success at the Quad, the operators look to extend the amount of cars showcased in the museum in the not too distant future. The museum is open 7 days a week during the hours of 10am-6pm.
