Daniel Herrington – No. 28 Le Bleu/BHA Dallara/Honda/Firestone
Qualifying Position: 7th
Qualifying Speed: 123.729 mph
Top Speed in Practice: 122.805 mph
Overall Rank in Practice: 7th on speed chart

On qualifying:
“Qualifying was a little tough for us because we didn’t end up quite where we wanted to be. Starting seventh isn’t the worst position but for sure we’re looking to start qualifying in the top three on road courses. We had some braking issues, having to pump the pedal during qualifying, and a few other issues going on too. I know my guys are on top of it and will have it all worked out for tomorrow. Now we just have to get into the No.28 Le Bleu race car and start passing some cars.”

Felipe Guimarães – No. 29 BHA Dallara/Honda/Firestone
Qualifying Position: 6th
Qualifying Speed: 124.068 mph
Top Speed in Practice: 122.034 mph
Overall Rank in Practice: 8th on speed chart

On qualifying:
“”Our qualifying run wasn’t too bad but it could have been better. We had some difficulties in the morning practice to find a good set up for the No.29 Bryan Herta Autosport car but now I am quite happy with it. Now we have to think about a strategy and a good consistent car for the race but we feel fairly confident about the weekend to date.”

Bryan Herta -Owner Bryan Herta Autosport No.28 & No.29

On qualifying:
“Mixed emotion for me really with Felipe (Guimaraes) and Daniel (Herrington) in sixth and seventh because we wanted to be higher up but of course congratulations are in order for James (Davison) for the pole. We have some work to do overnight to overcome that gap.”
