“Spraker Racing Enterprises Hoping To Award Female Sensation With First Top-10 In ARCA”

LEBANON, Tennessee (Wednesday, August 8, 2007) - - Michelle Theriault has had a busy year. In addition to competing in a limited ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule, the female sensation has been running the full NASCAR Busch East Series schedule for Team GLOCK Racing. But with a break from NBES competition, the group has elected to come out and play in Saturday’s TOYOTA ARCA 150.

Theriault has strutted her muscle in her two previous ARCA races this season. The Connecticut native has qualified exceptionally well, but unfortunately hasn’t reeled in the finishes.

The team participated in the open test session at the 1.333-mile speed plant late last month. After notching the fourth fastest time at 30.83 seconds or 155.303 MPH, just two tenths of a second from session leader Michael McDowell, they feel they have the potential to be the cream of the crop this weekend.

“I’m really excited about going to Nashville this weekend,” said Theriault, who will pilot the No. 37 GLOCK, Inc. Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS on Saturday. “We had a great test. I think it’s a great thing for ARCA to have those open tests. They are crucial for rookies likes myself. I can head to the track now this weekend with a little seat time and work on our qualifying and race runs on Friday.”

The Mooresville, North Carolina native continued, “I’m having a blast competing in the NASCAR Busch East Series. We’ve had some great runs, but it’s also fun to go over and dabble in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. I hope to be able to run the full schedule in the very near future. The series is very diverse and I can learn a lot as I try to move up the ladder in NASCAR.”

Another battle Theriault will be facing this weekend is the race of the female competitors. Theriault is one of four female drivers entered for the 14th ARCA race held at Nashville Superspeedway. In addition to Theriault, Gabi Di Carlo (No. 90), Erin Crocker (No. 98) and Deborah Renshaw (No. 75) will all take a stab at the win this weekend.

“The female crop is strong for this weekend’s race. All of us will be in strong equipment and I think we’ll have a battle of our own and I know that a lot of eyes will be watching our group. Gabi, Erin and Deborah are very strong and talented racecar drivers, I’m just glad to be racing with them this weekend.”

“We have all the materials to score a top-10 on Saturday,” sounded Theriault. “I have a great team, a great car and a great sponsor - GLOCK, Inc. We’ve been able to come out and be strong in the two ARCA races at USA International Speedway and Kentucky ; we should be able to do the same this weekend in Nashville .”

Craig Dutton, Director of Sales for GLOCK, Inc. spoke out about the team’s return to the ARCA RE/MAX Series and Theriault’s chances for Saturday. “We like our chances at Nashville this weekend. The team tested well and the car was good. We look forward to a great race.”

The TOYOTA ARCA 150 (113 laps/150 miles) is the 15 of 23 races on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. The 14th ARCA race held at Nashville Superspeedway is a two-day show. Practice begins Friday, August 10 with a two hour and a half hour (11:00am-1:30pm) session planned. ARCA SIM Factory pole qualifying is set for later in the day at 5:30pm Local Time. The event will take the green flag on Saturday, August 11 shortly after 2:30pm Local Time with live coverage on SPEED. Additional race coverage can be found online at arcaracing.com
