LAS VEGAS With less than a week to go before the kickoff of the MagnaFuel Rocky Mountain Summer Series at the legendary Bandimere Speedway near Denver, the Pacific Street Car Association has announced a third RMSS date. The final event of the three-race series is to be held at Alburquerque (New Mexico) Dragway Sept. 27-28. This season is the 50th anniversary season at the track and will feature the PSCA Outlaw 10.5, Xtreeme Drag Radial/True Ten Five, and Outlaw 8.5 classes.

“Small-tire racing is as popular as ever these days and the PSCA does it better than anyone out west!” said Robert Costa, Albuquerque Dragway owner/president. “This will be the track’s first experience with an event like this and we’re going to give our fans a real show.”

PSCA President Mel Roth said he has been overwhelmed with the support of the racers and businesses from the New Mexico region, such as Yearwood Performance Center and They Dyno Edge. “These folks have committed their full support and we will do whatever we can to make this event a total success.

“It’s also great for our racers to be able to race at different tracks and in front of different fans. It’s an honor for us to be able to bring our style of racing to as many people as possible.”

Next up for the PSCA is the MagnaFuel Rocky Mountain Summer Series at the legendary Bandimere Raceway June 1-2 as part of the legendary drag strip's 55th anniversary.
