LAS VEGAS --
After the most successful Pacific Street Car Association event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in four years, MagnaFuel announced they are continuing their support of the popular drag racing sanction. MagnaFuel President Robbie Ward, who also races the 10.5 class at selected PSCA events, said based on the crowd numbers he’s seen this year, especially the recent MagnaFuel Las Vegas Nationals, it makes sense to continue their six-year relationship.

“We need to be where the people are and PSCA has shown us they can bring the fans and racers to their events,” Ward said. “In addition to being a sponsor and a racer, I’m a fan of drag racing and to see how many of my fellow fans came out to the race to watch some of the best racing in the country, it makes me comfortable to know we’re utilizing our assets in the right place with the PSCA.

“Right now, we’re working with the PSCA to sanction races in our home state of Colorado so even more race fans can see some great drag racing.”

MagnaFuel has also sponsored the XDR/TT5 class for five years and has been a contingency fuel pump and regulator sponsor, providing $200 for a win and $100 for the runner up.

“There is no bigger compliment to a racer or a sanction to be told by a sponsor that they want to continue their partnership because you are helping them move product,” said Mel Roth, PSCA president. “Having partners like MagnaFuel and being the home of some of the best heads-up and bracket racers in the country definitely makes my job easier.

Having said that, the best thing for us is to see packed racer pits full of fans who appreciate what we’re doing. For every great marketing partner the PSCA has, we have our great fans and racers to thank.”
