MIDWEST RACER'S EXPO to SHOWCASE INDUSTRY at NEW LOCATION

Mid American Stock Car Series
November 12, 2013

(West Salem, WI) - The 2013 short track racing season in the upper Midwest is now officially in the record books. What does that mean to the short track racer? That answer is: "start thinking about next season," of course.

The first activities of the 2014 short track season will kick off at the Midwest Racers' Expo, on January 3rd & 4th. The event will take place at a new location this winter. Janesville, Wisconsin will be this year's host city, with the event taking place at a former Menards Store. The two day event will commence Friday, January 3rd at 3:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, January 4th at 8:00 a.m.

"The new location gives us the opportunity to better focus on the needs of the short track racers in the area," commented Auction Manager Gregg McKarns. "This building will offer a huge lot with free parking, something that all racers attending these events can appreciate. The Midwest Motorsports staff enjoys helping out the area short track racers, by offering them a marketplace to buy and sell race car parts in a heated building during the winter. Janesville is a great location for this event, as it is centrally located for dirt and asphalt racers in Wisconsin, Iowa and northern Illinois," continued McKarns.

This year's Expo will again feature hundreds of consigned lots in the racer's auction, plus the Racing Performance trade show in conjunction to the auction. Meetings for several of the area Touring Series are also planned to take place. "The expo can be just as much a social gathering for the racers as it is a marketplace; racing is a sport that has an element of gossip and rumors, and a visit to the Expo may just help racers solve that puzzle for next season," concluded McKarns.

Consignment registrations are now being accepted for the auction, which may include race cars, haulers, trailers, chassis' and components from both dirt and asphalt racing. Registration forms for consigning are available to download and print at www.midwestracersauction.com.

Be sure to visit the Mid-American Stock Car Series booth and attend the annual pre-season Series informational meeting at the Auction. Other interested Exhibitors may also find the trade show registration form at www.midwestracersauction.com, to participate in this year's event.

The event will take place at the former Menards Store building (N. Pontiac Drive) in Janesville, Wisconsin, immediately adjacent to the interstate, at I39/90 exit 171B.
