RANDLEMAN, North Carolina (May 24, 2012) - - It’s been nearly a month since Ryan Wilson and his Ryan Wilson Motorsports (RWM) team have inhaled a race at Caraway (N.C.) Speedway. This weekend though, the wait will be over and two twin-50 lap features await them this Memorial Day weekend.

Wilson is eager to return to victory lane at the track he netted a NASCAR Whelen All-American Series (NWAAS) win at in April. With their recent dedication and passion for this weekend’s festivities, the team has been dubbed as ones to watch.

“We’ve assembled one of the best teams we’ve had in a long time and it’s paying off with our performances on the track,” said Wilson, the 2010 fall winner of Richard Petty Driver Search II. “The last time we were at Caraway, we finished third, so I feel like we need to improve on that. We’re also going to have a lot of support from the stands on Saturday night, so we don’t plan to disappoint anyone.”

He continued, “It’s going to be Saturday night and under the lights, so I’m sure you will see some aggression, especially with the invert. It really depends on the track conditions that will dictate how the races unfold. 50 laps go by quick at Caraway, so you have to be on top of your game and up on the wheel to get the job done. There's nothing I want more than to get our guys and sponsors a trip back to victory lane in the No. 12 Southern Pharmacy Services / Randolph Bank Toyota Camry.”

In-between racing, Wilson has been participating in a few off-track activities with sponsor Randolph Bank to promote the team’s second annual “Design the Ride” contest which allows any customers to pick up a design form and have a chance at seeing their masterpiece on the racetrack in July.

“It’s been fun promoting the event and we’re going to continue to do it for the next couple of weeks,” he said. “It’s been pretty neat to have all the fan interaction with it and I’m hoping we can promote it even more with a triumph on Saturday night.”

Before turning to his duties on Saturday, Wilson will make another appearance on Friday, May 25 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. where he and his racecar will be on display at Randolph Bank located at 854 East Dixie Drive, Asheboro, North Carolina 27205. In addition to Wilson signing autographs, popcorn will also be available for all attendees.

While victory is so sweet in the eyes of many, the 20-year old isn’t shy to convey that his team still has sponsorship opportunities available for Saturday’s anticipated thriller and for the remainder of the team’s aggressive 2012 Late Model schedule.

“As always, we’re thrilled and appreciative to have the support of Southern Pharmacy Services and Randolph Bank on our Toyota Camry – but we still have some room on the car if someone wants to jump aboard,” Wilson sounded. “This is a team with a lot of passionate and drive, and anyone who joins our team will be greatly appreciated.”
