LONG POND, Pennsylvania (June 8, 2011) - - For most of the week, the thought of what could have been will cross the path of every member of the CGH Motorsports team. A David vs. Goliath story nearly panned out for Chad Hackenbracht last weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. After leading 45 consecutive laps and stretching his lead to over nine seconds, the right front tire exploded leaving Hackenbracht left with frustration and determination.

The Mooresville, North Carolina team will have a chance to rebound and prove that last Saturday night’s performance was no fluke when the Pocono ARCA 200 receives the green flag this Saturday afternoon.

Luckily for the 19-year old rising star and his team, the tough 2.5-mile triangle of Pocono (Pa.) Raceway is a familiar place and one of Hackenbracht’s favorites on the schedule, thus giving the team the inspiration to be the talk of the garage once again.

“It’s still really tough to swallow what happened last week, but we can’t dwell on it much longer, we have to get back in the saddle,” said Hackenbracht. “Thankfully, we’re going to Pocono Raceway this weekend and I love that place. It’s such a different type of place but I think that’s why I enjoy it so much.”

The New Philadelphia, Ohio native added, “Rob (Torrey, crew chief), Kevin (Reed, director of competition) and the entire CGH Motorsports team are bringing another stout piece to the track this weekend and our engine should be just as strong if not stronger this weekend. It sure would be nice to get some redemption from last weekend. If we can’t, we’re hoping for a strong top-five run.”

Even though the team still salvaged a 20th place finish at Chicagoland Speedway, Hackenbracht after posting his career-best finish of ninth the race prior at New Jersey Motorsports Park slipped to 11th in the series’ standings giving the team another agenda this weekend at Pocono.

“I’m going to race smart because we need to finish the race; we made some serious strides making a huge climb in the point standings. We need to continue that uphill battle and try and not have any more slides.”

Hackenbracht, the 2008 National Asphalt Legends will make his 16th career ARCA start and third at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway this weekend. In his previous 15 races, he has delivered one top-10 finish at New Jersey Motorsports Park (May 2011). The CGH Motorsports team has delivered top-20 finishes in five of the first six races in 2011.

CGH Motorsports is actively seeking additional marketing partners for the full 2011 ARCA Racing Series schedule. Single, multi and full-season placements are available on the team’s No. 58 entries. Interested parties are urged to contact Jordan Dahl at 570.234.5449 or jordan@cghmotorsports.com.

The Pocono ARCA 200 (80 laps / 200 miles) is the seventh of 19 events on the 2011 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards schedule. The 52nd ARCA race at Pocono Raceway is a two-day show. Practice begins Friday, June 10 with a one hour and fifty minute practice session planned from 10:00 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. Menards Pole by Ansell qualifying is slated to begin later in the day at 2:05 p.m. The field will take the green flag shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11. The event will be televised same-day delayed on SPEED beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST.
