“Casola & Company Aim For First Top-10 Of 2008”

ROCKINGHAM, North Carolina (May 1, 2008) - - It’s been a less than stellar start to the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series season for Win-Tron Racing and driver Dominick Casola but the team has no time to fret on the first four races of the season as they have to prepare for the biggest race of the season; Sunday’s Carolina 500K from Rockingham Speedway.

Casola, the Holmdel, New Jersey native stormed onto the ARCA RE/MAX Series circuit last season with consistency and determination but a slew of misfortune has kept the rising star out of the spotlight. Rockingham provides a new race for the series and frankly a new opportunity for Casola and Win-Tron Racing to redeem themselves with their first top-10 finish of the season.

“We need a good weekend,” said Casola, who hails a career best finish of third in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. “We sound like an broken record but this really is an awesome team surrounded by great people. We’ve just hit an early season snag and we’re ready to have it cut on Sunday at Rockingham.”

Casola did not participate in the two-day open test at Rockingham Speedway in March, but luckily his Minnesota-based team did. And with satisfying results.

“The team had a really good test in March with James Buescher,” Casola mentioned. “James has been a good teammate and instrumental to the success of Win-Tron Racing. I know that with what they learned that we can only go forward and make our No. 32 A. Casola Farms Dodge Charger stronger and look for a impressive run in Sunday’s thriller.”

With 500 kilometers (312 miles) and 312 laps ahead for Casola in his first trip to “The Rock”, he realizes that the race is going to full of obstacles. However, the former USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup Series star hopes to conquer those obstacles and be in contention to add his name to the “New” Rock Sunday afternoon.

“No one really knows what to expect from this race this weekend,” Casola sounded. “There’s going to be plenty of practice, two-rounds of qualifying and an extremely long race. Whoever is able to utilize patience the best will be in contention for the win. I have a great spotter and great crew chief in Mike Chaffee and I think the experience of those two will play into our hands. It’s been a while since this team has driven to victory lane. I would like to change that this weekend.”

Win-Tron Racing’s Nate Thiesse is equally ready to pick up the pace and deliver Casola his first top-10 finish in the team’s No. 32 Dodge Charger.

“Dominick is doing a heck of a job for us. Each week the communication continues to get stronger; we just have been plagued by some early season bad luck. Rockingham is the perfect opportunity for us to get back on track and make a serious run to the front. Hopefully we’ve paid our dues and Dominick can be in contention for his first ARCA win.”

Entering Rockingham, Casola sits 20th in the ARCA RE/MAX Series championship standings just 185 markers from entering the top-10.

Casola will spend Thursday evening at the Rockingham ThunderFest ( Rockingham , North Carolina ) participating in an autograph session from 6:00pm to 7:00pm local time.

A. Casola Farms, a family-owned business will sponsor Casola’s No. 32 Dodge Charger this weekend at Rockingham Speedway. Casola will make his 27th career ARCA start and his inaugural debut at 1.0-mile speed plant on Sunday.
