Loeb Wins Rally Argentina for Fourth Straight World Rally Championship Victory

French driver Sebastien Loeb has won the Rally Argentina for his fourth straight World Rally Championship victory.

Loeb drove his Citroen to fourth or better in all of the final day's segments Sunday. He completed the race's 351.44 kilometers in 4:06:51.03. Runner-up Petter Solberg of Norway trailed in his Subaru by 44.6 seconds to place second. Gianluigi Galli of Italy in Peugeot was third.

Loeb entered the day with a more than 43-second advantage and never saw it slip under 32.9 seconds in comfortably defending his Argentine title. The victory boosted Loeb's overall point total to 56 points after six of 16 races. His lead has widened to 21 points over Marcus Gronholm of Finland.
