Most of the world’s high profile people want to give back and they get involved in charity work to do that. Some of them do not have the time to actually be there so instead they help organizations or groups which would be donating any proceeds they make to charities.

For the sixth year, the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event would be happening soon and the Opening Night Gala would be from 7pm to 10:30 in the evening. The event would be held at Palm Beach. Such an event is constantly attended by the area’s celebrities. Socialites who happen to be in the vicinity also make their way to the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event.

The auction company disclosed that if you would like to be part of the Opening Night Gala, tickets are available at $80. By just purchasing a ticket and attending the Opening Night Gala, you are actually helping out a couple of charities already for the company mentioned that all the proceeds from the tickets would be given to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation as well as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Starting Thursday, March 27th, those who would be interested in owning some of the best car collector units can head out to the Barrett-Jackson Auction. Vintage cars which have been kept in tiptop condition and which can be upgraded with Perrycraft Dynasport Series bed rails can be found here. The whole event ends on Sunday, March 30th. Some of the vehicles that would be put up under the hammer include “Knight Rider” vehicles Super KITT and Attack Mode KITT; eight vehicles from the HBO movie “The Sopranos”; and a 2008 Saturn Sky unit.

Craig Jackson is the chairperson and head of the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company and on this upcoming event, he disclosed, “The annual charity gala is our way of rolling out the red carpet for the residents of Palm Beach. Our guests, who will include celebrities and automotive legends, will enjoy great entertainment, a delectable menu and an electric atmosphere that only a Barrett-Jackson event can generate. The end result of this special night is the money raised for two extraordinary organizations.”

The president of the company said, “Amidst the bright lights, beautiful cars and excitement at Barrett-Jackson, our team works diligently to support organizations that put others first. And the collector car community, along with our generous sponsors, has really stepped up to make philanthropy a top priority at each event.”
