2010 Fearless Forecasts

Jeremy T. Sellers
Jerm's Joint
February 4, 2010

'Twas the week before Daytona, and all through Jerm's Joint,

My editor has asked me to get to the point.

Soon the truck will be packed with all our gear,

Because we know that the 500 will soon be here.

As visions of Dale Jr winning a race dance in my head,

I hope it is not another season of enduring dread.

Escaping the onslaught of Ohio's winter blast,

It is to you now I bring my Fearless Forecast!

NASCAR will further realize the error of their ways, and the cars will improve in the coming days.

Jimmie Johnson is finally de-throwned and Denny Hamlin's name will be etched in historic stone.

Kyle Busch stands to waver but not totally fall, and my heart tells me that Dale Jr. will have a ball.

The Nationwide Series will see more of its regulars win, and maybe even Danica Patrick finds a way in.

Ron Hornaday will still certainly kick ass, but look for Matt Crafton to be at the head of the class.

Hamlin is teaching racing school, and Keselowski becomes the class fool.

Raw Emotion returns for the loyal fans, and the Officials won't ruin any sparring plans.

Brian France will continue to realize where his head has been, Mike Helton will just put it back there again.

Daytona International finds out its amusement park is a bust, and all their rides will collect the sea rust.

Carl Edwards will have a better year, and did I mention Jerm will drive 'Dega without fear?

Look for Front Row to show up with their magic hat, and even RPM will top that!

Jack Roush continues his winning ways and a toast to RCR which will see better days.

...and as Jerm and sons in his Colorado drove out of sight, he yelled, "I'll be reporting from Daytona next Friday night!"
