COVINGTON KY (12-5-09) - Venturini Motorsports has announced the team's driver line-up for 2010 including a fulltime effort from Westlake, Louisiana driver Mikey Kile, slated to drive the no. 25 car for the entire ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards schedule.

The announcements were made during ARCA's annual Press Conference Saturday afternoon in Covington, Kentucky coinciding with the same-night ARCA Series championship awards banquet.

"We at Venturini Motorsports are extremely excited and optimistic about the upcoming season," said Billy Venturini, Competition Director for Venturini Motorsports. "We have a wonderful stable of drivers and could not be more proud of them and the people involved with our program. Our goals and expectations for next season are high and we feel with hard work and dedication we will achieve them."

Kile, a second-year driver in the ARCA Series, finished a career-best fourth last year at Talladega Superspeedway driving for Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR). Kile is confident about his move from BKR to Venturini Motorsports.

"I am truly confident in racing full time next year in the ARCA Series with Venturini Motorsports," Kile said. "Venturini Motorsports has proven themselves as the powerhouse team year in and year out and together we will truly be a considerable pair. I am solely committed to my new team (Venturini Motorsports) and I know they believe in me and will help me succeed my racing career. I am excited to get in the seat at Daytona and cannot wait for the test in late December."

In addition to Kile, Venturini Motorsports will be fielding a mix of Chevrolets and Toyotas for a variety of drivers in 2010.

It was also announced that Alli Owens, who switched from Eddie D'Hondt Motorsports to Venturini Motorsports in the latter half of the 2009 season, will be returning to the Venturini Motorsports stable for eight to 10 races in 2010, driving the team's second no. 15 entry.

"I am really looking forward to my partnership with Venturini Motorsports and the continuation with ElectrifyingCareers.com for the fourth year in a row," said Owens, of Daytona Beach, Florida. "I feel like we have all the pieces of the puzzle together, allowing us to achieve great things in 2010. With Venturini Motorsports and their wealth of knowledge and on-track results behind me, I am extremely excited to kick off the season at Daytona and to continue to make history in the ARCA Series."

Fort Frances, Ontario driver Steve Arpin, who also finished up the year with Venturini Motorsports, will open the season at Daytona Int'l Speedway in a third Venturini Motorsports entry with hopes of running more down the road.

"I am looking forward to getting back in the seat with Venturini Motorsports in 2010," said Arpin. "We developed a lot of momentum through the end of 2009, including a great test at Texas Motor Speedway. I am excited to get back behind the wheel at Daytona and to see what the season brings."

In addition, Venturini Motorsports announced that Jake Crum, AJ Frank and Pete Shepherd will be running in some capacity with the Concord, North Carolina-based team in 2010.

Venturini Motorsports, which reaches back three decades in ARCA competition, won two national ARCA titles with the company's patriarch Bill Venturini earning driving championships in 1987 and 1991 before handing the reigns over to his son Billy, who made 162 career starts prior to his new role with the team.

Venturini Motorsports, one of the premier development teams in ARCA competition, fielded cars for Joey Logano and Brian Scott prior to their ascension into NASCAR. Other development drivers who have raced under the Venturini Motorsports banner before moving into NASCAR include Justin Allgaier, Sean Caisse, Scott Lagasse, Jr., Justin Marks and Marc Davis.
