Toyota is recalling another 1.1 million cars to correct a defect that can cause engines to stall.

The recall covers Corolla sedans and Matrix hatchbacks sold between 2005 and 2008 in North America.

Several accidents and one injury are attributed to the problem.

The latest recall adds to the millions of vehicles Toyota has already recalled for several problems, including unintended acceleration.

Toyota is the world’s largest automaker.
