香港上水發生縱火案 私家車遭拆車牌後焚毀

【2007年7月3日讯】 香港上水發生縱火案，無人受傷。事發於凌晨3時45分，一輛停泊於上水彩園路9號路邊的私家車著火焚燒，途人發現後馬上報警。消防員接報到埸立即開喉灌救，大約15分鐘後將火撲熄。
消防員經調查起火原因後，相信火勢乃由車廂內燒出，認為起火原因有可疑，轉交現場警方接手處理。警方調查後發現私家車並無掛上車牌，將案件列為縱火案處理，並已根據被焚汽車底盤資料，聯絡有關車主以了解情況並協助調查。
