【2009年2月18日讯】 2月18日起，多家网站突然开始报道2月11日京沪高速公路上发生的一起交通事故，报道主要引用天涯网上2月14日的文章《目击者爆料:2月10日至13日京沪高速特大交通事故现场》一文所使用的图片，声称并谴责官方媒体没有做报导，在网络上封锁消息，隐瞒伤亡人数。由于配发的事故现场图片相当惨烈，一度引起高度关注。
