BROOKLYN, Michigan (June 16, 2011) - - On the heels of their career-best finish in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards of seventh last Saturday afternoon at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway, Chad Hackenbracht and his CGH Motorsports kept their momentum into overdrive Friday afternoon after posting the ninth fastest time (39.191 seconds / 183.716 miles per hour) in preparation for tomorrow’s RainEater Wiper Blades 200 at Michigan International Speedway.

Armed with the same hotrod the team maneuvered at Chicagoland Speedway before a nine-second lead was shattered when the right front tire blew, the team is looking for a rebound in the eighth race of the season that could soar the team to what would be a well-deserving victory.

“Everyone worked their tails off to get this car back together in time for Michigan here this week, so I’m pretty pleased with our performance thus far,” said Hackenbracht. “We’re going to make a few more adjustments before qualifying tomorrow and see what we can dish out.”

It would be no surprise if the family-owned team would be able to pull off a victory tomorrow, considering that Kevin Reed, the team’s director of competition is the defending crew chief champion at the two-mile oval.

“I don’t believe we’ve shown everything we have just yet,” added the New Philadelphia, Ohio native. “Rob (Torrey, crew chief, Kevin (Reed) and I will put our heads together between tonight and tomorrow morning and see if we can’t pull off our best qualifying run of the year to set us up for the race.”

Sitting just 10 points outside the top-10 in the championship standings, the team is also hopeful to gain those crucial points and enter the top-10 upon the completion of the 19 year olds second go-around with the track nestled in the Irish Hills of Michigan.

Entering Michigan, Hackenbracht has 17 career ARCA starts to his credit. In those races, he has delivered two top-10 finishes at New Jersey Motorsports Park (May 2011) and Pocono (Pa.) Raceway (June 2010) including a career-best of seventh. The CGH Motorsports team has also delivered top-20 finishes in six of the first seven races in 2011.

CGH Motorsports is actively seeking additional marketing partners for the full 2011 ARCA Racing Series schedule. Single, multi and full-season placements are available on the team’s No. 58 entries. Interested parties are urged to contact Jordan Dahl at 570.234.5449 or jordan@cghmotorsports.com.

The RainEater Wiper Blades 200 (100 laps / 200 miles) is the eighth of 19 events on the 2011 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards schedule. The 30th ARCA race at the Irish Hills track is a two-day show. Menards Pole by Ansell qualifying is slated to begin on race day, Friday, June 17th at 10:00 a.m. The field will take the green flag later in the day shortly after 5:00 p.m. The event will be televised live on SPEED. Live timing and scoring throughout the 1,320th race for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards since it was formed in 1953 will be available through the ARCA Racing Network (ARN) online at arcaracing.com presented by ARCANation.com. All times are local.
