As a family man, the first things that I look for in a new car are safety features. There are plenty of safe cars on the market, but which are the ones that are truly safe and which are the ones that are just promoting outdated credentials? With everything moving so quickly in terms of technological advancement, the evaluation criteria for "safe" cars has also evolved very quickly. Cherry Hill Hyundai Genesis drivers know that forward-looking brands are staying ahead of the safety curve. In fact, some of the safest brands are actually raising the bar on the market themselves, and I'm proud to say that Hyundai is one of the leaders. When I bought my Hyundai, they were bringing new things to the market in terms of safety, and they continue to lead the pack as we move further into 2011. In fact, the 2011 Hyundai Equus was just named a "Top Safety Pick" by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), one of the highest-ranking authorities on safe driving. Ask any Woodbury Hyundai Sonata driver and they'll tell you that the Korean brand is way ahead of the curve and continually blowing the current standards out of the water.

Cherry Hill Hyundai Genesis drivers have been paying close attention the new safety standards as they've evolved into something coherent. Now, when the IIHS evaluates safety features, electronic stability control has to be one of the standard features. On top of that, there are plenty of other criteria. According to the recent Hyundai press release, "As the company's flagship rear-wheel-drive sedan, Equus features Hyundai's newest safety innovation, the Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) system. VMS governs ESC, the electronic parking brake, smart cruise control, the collision warning sensor and the seatbelt tensioning system for optimal safety. The seatbelt tensioning system in the Equus works through sensors, which detect critical driving situations and retract the seatbelts accordingly to prevent passenger movement. The Equus' dynamic safety package is further enhanced by the Lane Departure Warning System and driver's knee airbags." If you have a family, you understand how important safety is. Woodbury Hyundai Sonata drivers are among the safest on the road, and some of them can attest firsthand to the excellence of the Hyundai safety systems. I'm one of them. When we were hit by a Hummer, our Hyundai's safety features were a very real part of why we were able to escape unscathed.

Cherry Hill Hyundai Genesis dealers are looking forward to next year and how Hyundai will put new forms of innovation in place. According to Moore's Law, technology will continue to progress exponentially until the year 2020. We expect Hyundai to be ahead of the pack in terms of safety, but the company is also doing a lot in the way of fuel-efficient engine technology, so keep your eyes peeled for big developments there. Woodbury Hyundai Sonata dealers are among some of the brightest auto industry professionals in the world, and they will continue to be the best of the best.
