1920: A meeting of State highway testing engineers and chemists gets underway at Bureau of Public Roads headquarters, under auspices of AASHO's Tests and Investigations Committee, to formulate standard methods for testing road materials and to establish safe test limits. Professor T. R. Agg of the Iowa Highway Commission acts as chairman of the conference, which includes Bureau of Public Roads' B. A. Anderson (chemist), L. G. Carmick (assistant chemist), A. T. Goldbeck (engineer of tests), F. H. Jackson (senior assistant testing engineer), Henry M. Milburn (chemist), and E. B. Smith (senior assistant testing engineer).

2007: The song “Drive” by Client was released.

2015: Honda announced that CEO and President Takanobu Ito would step down to be replaced by Takahiro Hachigo in June.

2017: The film Refuse to Lose was released.
