Dino

Dino
Vehicle Marque

A former Italian manufacturer of cars.  A brand of Ferrari named for Enzo Ferrari's son Dino, it was intended for smaller-engined cars produced by Ferrari, reserving the Ferrari name itself for the most powerful cars.  Because of this connection, many mistakenly refer to the Dino as the model name and call the car a "Ferrari Dino."  This is inaccurate, as Dino was the marque and the model nomenclature followed Ferrari's style.

Dino cars were produced in model years 1968 to 1976 and included the 206 GT, 246 GT, 246 GTS, and 308 GT4.
