A car produced by Benz from 1902-1905. Most likely named for the Richard Wagner opera of the same name (both using a unique misspelling), which was very popular at the time, being in continuous production at the Bayreuth Festival in Bavaria since 1882 and then going internatiobal to the New York Metropolitan Opera in 1903. The opera itself takes its name from the 13th century poem Parzival, and both stories are of knights seeking the holy grail.
