The Asian Development Bank says it will lend $200 million to China to improve roads in the southern Guangxi region.
The Manila-based bank says the money will be used to build a 188-kilometer highway between the Guangxi capital of Nanning and the Yunnan province border, as well as the construction or renovation of 775 kilometers of local roads.
Money will also be used to purchase road maintenance equipment and ensure project supervision and capacity building.
