“Part Time ARS Driver Looks To Make Statement In Long Pond”

LONG POND, PA (June 6, 2007) - - Dreams do come true. If you ask Art Seeger about those four words, he will tell you it’s true as the New Jersey native has thrown together a competitive last minute deal to participate in Saturday’s Pocono 200 at Pocono Raceway.

Pocono Raceway, a personal favorite for Seeger offers a unique chance for the part-time ARCA RE/MAX Series (ARS) driver to make a noise. For the 10th event on the 2007 schedule, Seeger has partnered up with veterans Mike Harmon and the legendary James “Harvey” Hylton to bring his first ’07 start a reality.

Seeger is no stranger to working with Harmon as the duo worked together in 2005 and 2006 at Pocono Raceway. With the dignity that Harmon stands for, Seeger knows that nothing but a smooth performance is in the plan book for Saturday’s race.

“First let me say that I’m excited to have the opportunity to race at Pocono Raceway this weekend,” said Seeger who will drive the No. 48 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS on Saturday.

“We put a feeler out last weekend about needing to pick up some additional sponsorship, I think it worked. A lot of local companies near my hometown have once again come to bat wanting to see me race. I’m very appreciative and thankful for their marketing partnerships this weekend.”

S.R. Industries will serve as the primary sponsor of Seeger’s effort this weekend. SR Industries, an undercarriage distributor owned by Seeger provides special incentive discounts on undercarriage parts to construction companies that support the team, thus helping his fourth attempt at Pocono possible.

In addition to S.R. Industries, R&R Construction, R&S Sewer Contractors, Jim Potts Excavating, Chris Petnuzzeuui Construction, J.R. Lentile, Inc., Triple T Canoe, Cosmos Auto Recycling, Bill’s Produce, Patriot Excavating and Yankowski Enterprises have all stepped up to be associate sponsors for Seeger’s eighth ARS race of his career.

He will also carry the FreeFeds.org logo on his automobile helping bring further awareness to Hylton’s primary program with Carter-2-Motorsports.

“When going get tough, the tough get going,” Seeger remarked. “I really wanted to compete in Saturday’s race, so I worked day and night for the last two weeks trying to squeeze enough together to race. We’ve done that, now we just look to bring home a good finish.”

Seeger continued, “I think a competitive top-20 finish is doable for our team. I know that I’ll have a solid car and motor and the guidance that Mike Harmon and James Hylton offer will mean even more. I know as much as anyone the No. 48 would like to climb the rail in the owner’s standings as a favor to James, I would like to make that happen.”

When asked about Pocono’s unique characteristics, Seeger offered, “Pocono is a track like nothing I’ve raced on or will ever race on. It’s a fun place to race and presents a different driving style for any driver. You can have you transmission choices and shifting preferences, there is a lot of room for error and plenty of racing space on the front stretch. It’s a great facility and probably one of my favorite track’s I’ve ever had the honor to compete at.”

Following Pocono, Seeger will return to the marketing partner trail and plan to line up his remaining 2007 ARCA schedule within the next month. “There’s an opportunity that I might head to Michigan International Speedway next week. I also have a lot of good prospects for the future; we just have to turn all of our concentration on this event. After Pocono, we can worry about the rest of the season. I just want to have fun this weekend.”
