TOWNSEND, DE - Enthused anticipation once again fills the minds of the ISCARS DASH competitors as round two rapidly approaches. The season opener is all but a blur, having taken place April 1st at Hickory Motor Speedway. The 2006 ISCARS season got underway with a competitive event as several drivers took turns pacing the field. The short track racing action was competitive and fierce as the drivers chased the checkered flag.

The teams will once again return to action in the ISCARS Dash 100 from the famed 5/8 mile at Music City Motorplex (Nashville, Tennessee) on Friday night June 23rd. As the chase for the championship resumes, so too does the quest for the year end Velocity Management Inc. - www.GoFastBeSafe.com Safe Driver Award. Eric Wilson currently leads the ISCARS competitors in this category by winning race one at Hickory Motor Speedway in his Pontiac outfitted DASH car. Scott Weaver and Scott Krehling follow closely in second and third respectively as they too pilot Pontiac ISCARS Dash cars.

Three Velocity Management Inc. - www.GoFastBeSafe.com awards along with VMI points will be available at the ISCARS Dash 100 held at the Music City Motorplex. The top prize will once again be awarded to the race winner, while the ISCARS driver that improves the most positions will secure the second prize. The final award will be presented to the driver who performs the safest move during the ISCARS event to be voted on by a Velocity Management Inc. panel.
