Eric Wilson extends lead in GoFastBeSafe.com Safe Driver Award Standings

Townsend, Delaware - International Sport Compact Auto Racing Series (ISCARS) travels to Shenandoah, Virginia, this weekend for the Prime Time 150 held at Shenandoah Speedway. The 3/8 mile facility will provide the backdrop for race three of the young ISCARS racing season.

Teams enter the event chasing the current championship points leader Eric Wilson, of Hickory, North Carolina. Wilson has established a high standard during the 2006 season with consecutive wins at Hickory Motor Speedway and the Music City Motorplex. The driver of the John Boy and Billy Pontiac has extended his series points lead from race one and carries a sizable amount of momentum into Shenandoah Speedway’s Prime Time 150.

Eric Wilson’s early success has also allowed him to widen his points lead in the year end Velocity Management Inc. – www.GoFastBeSafe.com Safe Driver Award. Winnsboro, South Carolinian Jake Hobgood, driving the Cedar Creek Collision Pontiac, is tied for second place with Scott Weaver of Shelby, North Carolina, who pilots the Weaver Race Cars Pontiac. Rounding out the Safe Driver Award standings in a tie for fourth place are SK Racing’s Scott Krehling driving the Cyprus Corporation Pontiac and the Jones Site Work Pontiac driven by Joe Jones.

Three Velocity Management Inc. - www.GoFastBeSafe.com awards and points will be available at the Prime Time 150 held at Shenandoah Speedway.

The top prize will once again be awarded to the race winner, while the ISCARS driver that improves the most positions will secure the ‘Hard Charger Award’. The ‘Safe Move Award’ will be presented to the driver who performs the safest move during the ISCARS event to be voted on by a Velocity Management Inc. panel.
