-- Chapman wins! Miller second followed by Humphrey -- Chapman out by six over Miller and it's single file to the white flag. -- Green on lap 151! -- Looks like it's going to be a two lap shootout here at Hickory. Johnny Chapman leads Joey Miller, Randy Humphrey, Scott Krehling, and Gary Young. -- Caution on lap 144, Wilson turns Chapman, Chapman saves it and the 4 of Wilson spins, NARROWLY avoiding broadsiding the butt end of the pit wall. The nose has been torn off of the Huntington House Pontiac. --7 to go and Chapman is still holding a one car length advantage... love tap in turn 4 from the 4 of Wilson! --10 Laps to go... it's a two horse race between Chapman and Wilson who've opened a straightaway on third place Miller. -- Lap 134 JOey Miller's right side door has come loose and is flapping in the breeze as he and Humphrey race for third. WIlson is on the bumper of Chapman now with 15 circuits remaining. --Wilson is back by ten car lengths here on lap 131 as he didn't get a good restart by any means.... a missed gear? spun tires? He's closed to within six car lengths now on lap 132. --Lap 130, Restart with some speedy dry still on the bottom of turn one. Could Eric Wlson take advantage since he's been running the top? --Lap 123, lots of speedy dry in turns one and two in the low groove with reports of more fluid leaking from the 10 car.... and goes a lap down on pit road as the crew tries to find the source of the problems. --Lap 121, Bagwell leaking fluid exiting turn four... spins in turn one and cannot get refired. Miller can capitalize tonight with a good finish. --Lap 118, Bagwell pressuring a fading Wilson for second... his car obviously affected from the wall contact. -- Lap 110, Wilson into the wall again off of turn two... significan concrete dust inside of his wheels but he hangs onto Chapman's rear bumper. -- Lap 109, Chapman leads the restart over Wilson as they clear the lapped car of Joey Jones... Bagwell and Young follow into turn three. -- Lap 103, Humphrey spins out of turn two and brings out caution #4. -- Lap 101, Bagwell is back up to third after his spin and is about fifteen car lengths off of leader Chapman -- Lap 98, restart #3 Chapman leads Bagwell... Krehling lags behind in third, about six car lengths back. -- Lap 96, Joey Miller has a flat right rear tire under caution and comes to pit road to replace it. -- Lap 91 Caution Number three in turn three as Danny Bagwell took it three wide under Young and Miller... Humphrey and Jones were also involved... all involved continued with minimal damage -- Lap 88, Chapman capitalizes on a HUGE restart and pulls out by eight car lengths over Eric Wilson. -- Lap 87, restart number two with Chapman as the leader. Will the fender rub as we go back to speed? -- Lap 85, Eric Wilson is showing some damage on the RR quarter after apparently getting into the wall. Chapman shows damage, and Bagwell comes to the attention of his crew so they can check his car for damage. -- Lap 83 Caution as Chapman and Bagwell make contact in turn one... Bagwell spins without contact and will continue once we go green. -- Lap 81, Chapman got loose off of 4 and Bagwell took the lead... CHapman wants to return the favor from Bagwell as they work lapped traffic. -- Lap 78 Chapman moves Wilson up the track and takes the lead hanging the tail end out off of turn four with Bagwell moving to the second spot. And Bagwell now hounds the back bumper of Chapman on lap 80 -- Lap 75 Halfway... Wilson leads using the top, and Chapman continues to run loosely on th ebottom but cannot get the car to stick. -- Lap 72 the leaders are looking three wide multiple times entering the corners... Wilson still leads but Bagwell and Chapman are looking very stout. -- Lap 70, the top three are under a blanket and out by a full straightaway over Joey Miller. -- Chapman begins looking under Wilson soon after the restart... pulls up to his door on exit of turn four on lap 66. -- Restart lap 64... Gary Young is the lucky dog and with six cars on the lead lap, we're back racing! -- Lap 60, pit stops for all of our lead lap cars. Wilson wins the race off followed by Chapman, Bagwell, Krehling, and Joey Miller, the top five and the only cars on the lead lap. -- Lap 57, Randy Humphrey spins after contact from J. Matt Johnson entering turn three bypassing the lapped car of Brandon Burris. This brings out the first caution of the night and we expect pit stops from all of our leaders. -- Lap 53, and we're still clean and green! WIlson, Chapman, and Bagwell are all within 3 car lengths of each other, a half track ahead of fourth place Scott Krehling. -- Lap 47, REport of fluid coming from the Chris Chapman car... and now he breaks on lap 48. -- Lap 42, Hobgood has broken out of turn two and comes to his crew with no power. They go under the hood but appear to be in no hurry. -- Lap 39 Hobgood is still challenging on the bottom, side by side with Eric Wilson down the backstretch. Bagwell is also closing on the lead battle. -- Lap 32, Eric Wilson snuck by Hobgood to take the top spot and CHapman is beginning to close on the lead duo as well. -- Lap 28, Humphrey is black flagged for a window net that has fallen down. Tough break for the last race winner. -- Lap 25, near disaster for Chris CHapman as he encountered the car of Brian Pruitt and lost two spots to Danny Bagwell and Randy Humphrey -- Lap 20 in the books, the field is fairly well strung out and the groove is starting to move up from the bottom as the track slickens with Goodyear rubber. -- WOrking lap 15, Hobgodo is out by 5 car lengths after working lapped traffic with Chapman about twenty car lengths back. -- 7 laps in, Hobgood still leads Wilson by a car length. The pair is out by ten over Johnny Chapman in third. -- Justin oHobgood leads lap one after a challenge from Eric Wlson -- Engines are fired! We'll be racing momentarily! ----- The pre-race autograph session is under way and will be giving way to driver introductions momentarily.
