Retailer Revs up Racing Season with Exclusive In-Store Events and Incredible Race Day Savings
LOUDON, N.H., July 8, 2011 – As New Hampshire prepares for the upcoming Lenox Industrial Tools 301, select Walmart stores near the New Hampshire Motor Speedway will host exclusive NASCAR fan events through its new Race Time program starting July 13. Customers are invited to attend these special events and enjoy real stock racing car displays and racing simulator machines – perfect to safely get behind the wheel and feel the power of NASCAR – July 13-16 from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
“We’ve found that nearly nine out of 10 NASCAR fans chose to shop at Walmart1,” said Walmart market manager Donald Wallis. “We wanted to provide New Hampshire race fans with unique Race Time experiences and unbelievable savings on NASCAR merchandise that you can only find at Walmart.”

In addition to the fan events happening in Walmart parking lots and storefronts, Walmart stores will feature incredible prices on NASCAR merchandise during the racing season such as T-shirts, racing flags, and tailgating food and beverages with even more selection of exclusive product on Walmart.com/NASCAR.
Local radio station WOKQ 97.5 will be at Walmart Store #1749 in Somersworth broadcasting remotely on Wednesday, July 13 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
