SMYRNA, Georgia (November 8, 2007) - - GLOCK, Inc. announced today that they have renewed their 2008 Team GLOCK Racing contract with veteran NASCAR driver and team owner Jeff Spraker of Spraker Racing Enterprises. Dexter Bean of Westby , Wisconsin will join the team as the No. 37 GLOCK Chevrolet driver in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. The 20 year old finished third in the ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship point standings in 2007 with his family owned BlackJack Racing team.

Dexter completed three top five finishes including fifth in the Allen Crowe 100 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, second at the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 by Federated Auto Parts at Salem Speedway and second at the Pocono 200 at Pocono Raceway in June in the ARCA RE/MAX Series.

Spraker Racing Enterprises celebrated their 25th year of service to the racing community in 2004 with their full service racing operation which includes fabrication, repair, chassis set-up, body work, chassis dyno, gear rental and consulting services to NASCAR, ARCA and USAR Pro Cup Series customers as well as their expertise in racing competition.

“As a driver, Dexter not only brings a stellar record of achievement, but also a respected reputation for consistency and determination. All of his accomplishments to date have been achieved with his family-run operation. With GLOCK Inc.’s sponsorship, Dexter on board and with my team, we have all the tools for a successful season,” said Jeff Spraker.

GLOCK, Inc. became introduced to Dexter when they supported his family owned BlackJack Racing No. 6 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS at the ARCA RE/MAX 250 from Talladega Superspeedway on October 5, 2007 and will compete in his first full time year of racing for the Austrian Handgun manufacturer in 2008. Dexter began his racing career on go-kart tracks in La Crosse and Westby , Wisconsin at age ten. In 2003, he started racing late model stock cars for his family’s BlackJack Racing Team and stepped into the ARCA RE/MAX Series in 2007 with an impressive season.

Dexter Bean will race the No. 37 Chevrolet in a sightly black, silver and red color scheme. The number 37 is significant to GLOCK, because it represents the model number of the fastest growing law enforcement pistol in the United States , the .45 caliber G.A.P. (GLOCK Auto Pistol).
