Rumor has it …Michael Schumacher could be back on the grid in two or three years.

In 2001 the Finn left the sport and ever since has been widely associated with a return after making an appearance for McLaren while at a test session before the kick off of the current season.

Instead, the Cologne based newspaper stated Schumacher is limbering up to return to the football field for his local Swiss club FC Echichens, which is struggling at the bottom of the third division.

Former Ferrari pilot racer Schumacher has reportedly vowed to practice twice per week with his fellow players, to help improve the fortunes of the struggling football squad.
