POSTOFFICE TRUCKS LIMITED IN SPEED

Washington Times
December 28, 1922 Late Financial Edition

An all-year safety campaign among all postal employes connected in any way with the operation of postoffice trucks was ordered today by Fourth Assistant Postmaster General H. H. Billany.

"The department is desirous of reducing accidents to the very minimum," the order reads, "and to this end it has equipped all of its trucks with governors, so adjusted as to limit the speed of the truck to that fixed by local ordnance."
