Power, style and safety. Very few manufacturers can seamlessly integrate these features into one car model. For car enthusiasts, the Nissan 370Z is truly a dream come true -- from the interior right down beneath the hood.
Since time immemorial, the vision of man coming together with machine has been the underlying thread of the passion people have for cars. The new Z Coupe takes things further with its three-layer design philosophy. In the Information Layer, Nissan ensured that the driver can quickly and clearly glance at the information on the dashboard. In the Operation Layer, everything has been designed for the optimum performance of the driver, from the shape of the steering wheel to the low center armrest cover to the center console controls. The Holding Layer, on the other hand, is designed in such a manner as to ensure that the driver and his passenger are seated firmly no matter what speed the car is going.
Storage space has not always been the strongest suit of coupes. With the Z Coupe, the ample trunk space allows more than enough space for cargo while the retractable cargo cover enables the driver a clear rear view.
Under the hood, the Nissan Z is powered by a 332-horsepower, 3.7-liter V6 engine which features Variable Valve Event and Lift (VVEL) technology which allows better fuel efficiency and quick response.
Sleek as it may look, this coupe is built with performance in mind. Its low center of gravity and wide stance along with its short wheelbase and length make it one manoeuvrable ride. Using lighter and sturdier materials, Nissan engineers have enabled the Z Coupe to fully utilize the power of its engine.
Available in both manual and automatic transmissions, Nissan's engineers have integrated innovations in the transmissions systems for better performance. The SynchoRev Match Manual Transmission allows for seamless performance of the coupe when the driver upshifts or downshifts, adjusting the engine to the optimal rpm. On the other hand, the seven-speed Automatic Transmission combines the best features of manual and automatic transmission -- acceleration with efficiency.
On the other hand, the Z's Advanced Air Bag System has been boosted by dual-stage supplemental front air bags and seat belt and occupant classification sensors to help buffer against collisions.
Optional upgrades like illuminated kick plates, rear decklid spoilers and polished forged alloy wheels make this coupe a real head-turner.
