Kirk, Michigan End, Injured When Auto Crashes Into Pole |

DETROIT, Mich., Dec. 17.—Bernard Kirk, star end on the University of Michigan football team, was seriously injured earlier today when an automobile in which he was riding near Ypsilani crashed into a telephone pole. He was removed tho an Ypsilanti hospital, where it was reported tonight he is still unconscious. Fear was expressed for his recovery. Eddie Usher, former varsity football player and captain of the Michigan baseball team in1921, who was in the automobile with Kirk, escaped injury.
