Buses Carried 68,970,000 Passengers in Eleven Months.

More than 68,970,000 passengers were carried by Newark jitney buses during the eleven months ending November 30 last, according to a report made yesterday by Joseph J. Kroehl, statistical clerk of the Municipal Treasury Department.

This is an increase of 15,000,000 over last year and represents cross receipts of $3,448,508, more than $800,000 over those for 1921.
