BOSTON, April 23.—Patrolman S. Robinson of the Police Department, who died yesterday leaving $53,000, had bequeathed $40,000 to the town of Gilmanton, N. H., the income to be expended for good roads. The remainder of the fortune is divided among the friends, relatives, and police associates of the old man, who was styled "The Hermit of the Police Court."
