December 1970
Turning on his trade knowledge full blast, Silvie Licitra, Automotive Service & Body News' dynamic Editorial Director will conduct an All Day Business Management Course on Saturday, December 5, 1970.
It is not often shop owners can get together to discuss business. Here is an opportunity to track down overlaps in work procedures, methods where waste of time or money is involved, and obsolecence or over-abundance of equipment. Taking this management course, a shop owner can make a critical survey of his management and production.
Silvie expounds with proven formulas on the many auto repair problems that can be eliminated. His combined experience as a former New York City high school teacher, insurance claims executive, automobile craftsman and night club entertainer, make his sessions interesting, easy to digest and to the point.
The scheduled class that Licitra will conduct will be held at the Diplomat Hotel, 3515 South Ocean Drive, Hollywood Beach, Florida, in the East Card Room on December 5, 1970, at 8:00 A.M. sharp.
The course will cover shop organization and personnel assignments; overhead and phases of repair; legalities of insurance (Garage Keepers Liability, etc.) and their applications; chassis frame and collision estimate writing; general auto repairs and invoice writing.
The courses are open to independent and dealership owners, managers, and including their wives, secretaries, and accountants. The registration fee is $15.00 per person.
