Annual Automobile Outing for 5,000 Children to be Held June 4.
Orphans' day, a red letter day for the little inmates of New York's homes, will be given by the Orphans' Automobile Day Association of New York, on Thursday, June 4, this year, and preparations are already under way. Along "Automobile Row," scores of dealers and others interested in this charity are working hard for the success of the forthcoming affair.
In order to convey all the 5,000 children on this, their tenth annual outing, it will be necessary to secure a large number of cars. It will also be necessary to raise funds for hiring big auto buses and motor trucks, and to defray the cost of other necessities, such as flags, badges, car numbers, signs, "goodies" of various kinds, literature, stationery, postage, &c. It is hoped that the responses for cars and cash will be as numerous as those of the past few years.
