J. D. Rockefeller as a Road Builder.

TARRYTOWN, N. Y., Aug. 24.—The Trustes of the village of North Tarrytown last night voted permission to John D. Rockefeller to raise, grade, and improve the junction of the Bedford Road with the Sleepy Hollow and County House Road. This work will cost Mr. Rockefeller about $5,000. He is building a new road besides. Within the last year or so he has built about two miles of streets for the village at his own expense.
