Glidden Tour Starts July 1.

CHICAGO, April 4.—The Chicago-Boston non-motor stop run for the Glidden Trophy will start July 1, it was announced to-day by the Chicago Automobile Club. The event was sanctioned yesterday by the American Automobile Association, after the Chicago Automobile Club had agreed to make the tour a national event.
Roadsters for Cigar Salesmen.

The increasing adoption of utility cars for the use of salesmen and others who must cover a large territory is emphasized in the purchase of five roadsters by the firm of Waitt & Bond of Boston, for the use of its cigar salesmen. Each of the new roadsters is built with a special trunk to contain samples of the different brands and sizes of cigars.
