DINGES SALES CO. GETS DESOTO AUTO
The Carroll Herald
New Car on Market. Product of Chrysler Touches New Skill in Motordom.
For sometime past the word of DeSoto has been prominent in the automobile world but now it has become a realization and the new DeSoto automobile is now on display in the showrooms of the Dinges Sales company located at Sixth and Adams street. The Dinges Sales company is the local dealer.
The opening announcement ad of the DeSoto corporation appears in this week's issue of the Herald.
IN NEW QUARTERS

The Oakland and Pontiac dealers here have moved into their new home recently erected on Carroll street. Although there is still quite a bit of work to be done, the company have moved there. This is a beautiful addition to the rapidly growing business district and the owner is to be complimented on the structure. The management informs the Herald that the formal opening will be held as soon as the work is all complete
MAKE AUTO TRIP

Night Marshall Warren K. Clark and "Mike" Tessandori are taking a two weeks vacation. They left Tuesday morning in the latter's car with Duluth, Minnesota as their objective. Joe Kloth is acting policeman during the absence of Mr. Clark.
SHELL OIL AD

Your attention is directed to the Shell Oil ad which appears elsewhere in this issue. The Shell company has carried a series of ads in the Herald this summer and the McCullough-Beiter service station dealers here, are elated over the results and the public in general have realized the value of being Shell oil and gas users. The ad carries much interest. Read it.
WILL SET POSTS ON LINCOLN HI-WAY

Saturday, Sept. 1, the Lincoln Highway markers will be set by the Boy Scouts from coast to coast. In Carroll county the scouts headed by the Carroll boys will begin the work at the west edge of the county and work east and boys headed by Glidden will work west from the east county line. Coon Rapids scouts and others will also help in the work. It is expected to complete the work in one day.
