LAS VEGAS – What’s better than a three-day weekend? Having a drag race to attend on that three-day weekend. The Pacific Street Car Association is celebrating Memorial Day Weekend with the MagnaFuel Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
This Friday through Sunday, it’s the best racing west of the Mississippi under the lights at Bruton Smith’s drag racing oasis in the desert. PSCA action has been hotter than ever this season with races in Vegas, Sacramento, and the sanction’s long-awaited return to Fontana. Friday night’s test and tune kicks off the action at 6 p.m.with spectator gates on Saturday and Sunday opening at 5 p.m.
“On Memorial Day Weekend, we honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country by celebrating traditions that make America great,” PSCA President Mel Roth said, “and what great tradition is there than spending time with your family at a race track? We’ve seen families where, generation after generation, they’re in the stands or on the track. For them, there’s no better way to spend a holiday than at the drag strip and hopefully, we turn this race into a tradition for new fans as well."
A two-day is $40 for adults and $10 for kids 12-under with additional pit parking only $20. For the full schedule and pricing, click
