Wyoming Woman Sentenced for Negligent Homicide by Vehicle

U.S. Attorney for the District of Wyoming Christopher A. Crofts announced that on December 4, 2013, Robin Neubauer, a 29-year-old tribal descendant, was sentenced for negligent homicide by vehicle in connection with an incident on August 10, 2012, in which she struck and killed Rex Coando, a 61-year-old member of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe. Ms. Neubauer was sentenced by United States Magistrate Judge Teresa McKee to one year supervised probation with three months home confinement; work release; $2,866 restitution; a $2,000 fine; and a $25 special assessment.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
