Although Governor-elect Silzer of New Jersey and the Democratic platform opposed the $40,000,000 Good Roads Bond bill, the voters of the State showed their interest in good highways by carrying the bill on referendum vote by more than 20,000 majority. To celebrate the passage of the bill, the Good Roads Association of New Jersey will hold its first annual dinner at the Robert Treat Hotel on Tuesday evening, Dec. 5. The newly elected Governor has consented to be one of the speakers, and others will include Senator Edge and Alfred Reeves, General Manager of the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce.
